He was born April 24, 1967 in Somerset, KY to Raymond Phelps and Elva (Branson) Cobler.
Eddie is survived by his father, his sons, Brady Phelps (wife, Amber); Brandyn Phelps; and Bradley Phelps; his sister, Anita Akers (husband, Zak); his brother, Doug Phelps; his nieces and nephews, Cody Phelps, Alexis Phelps, Isaiah Phelps, Johana Sherron; and Nate Ridge.
